Waves News
Alongside the already announced acts like The Soundtrack of Our Lives, The Wedding Present, Dillon, Rustie, Gold Panda and Gravenhurst, we are now happy to announce further names on the bill of this year’s festival.
New addition to the festival programme is Seattle based singer/songwriter Sera Cahoone, who will be releasing a new album called “Deer Creek Canyon” at the end of September via Sub Pop. The former Band of Horses percussionist adds country elements and a mellow yearning to her indie folk songs.
British lass Lucy Rose, who already created a stir ahead of the release of her debut album, which is due this September, follows a similar musical track. Q Magazine described her songs as "dark-hearted pop songs that strive for the epic". Lucy Rose’s vocals are also to be heard on the two last LPs of fellow countrymen Bombay Bicycle.
