Swim Swim Naked is a Budapest-based electronic-pop duo founded in 2024 by Krisztina Nagy and Dani Makkay.
Their project blends melodic pop elements with electronic music, featuring experimental rhythms and a mix of unusual sounds. Their debut single, Octopus (February 2024), invites listeners on a shared “swim,” from the first splash to a deep dive. Their message focuses on supporting freedom, creativity, and an open-minded way of thinking. In 2024, they won a Hungarian grant designed for emerging Hungarian bands. The duo has already played several club concerts and participated in the international Sofar Project in Debrecen. Furthermore, in January 2025, they opened for the Swiss band Kadebostany at a sold-out show that attracted 600 attendees. In May, the band will return to the Akvárium Klub, where they will be the opening act for the Austrian band Cari Cari.
Itinera is a duo creating music inspired by Hungarian folk, world music, electronica and pagan dark folk. Layered mantras and music loops help creating a ritual, trance-like state of mind so band and audience can travel together into another world. Their sound is usually compared to bands like Heilung, Dead Can Dance and Eivor. Created by Anett Horváth and Ádám Nagy in 2022 after a decade of playing music, in 2023 Itinera started playing live shows and released their debut EP ‘Aurora’ in September, presenting it also to foreign audiences in Czechia and France. In 2024 they released two singles, 'Békélj meg' and 'Csillag fénye, Holdnak fénye', accompanied by videos. In April they got invited to Tallinn Music Week showcase festival and, being among the winners of the Petőfi Nagylemez Program competition, they got grants to create their first full-length album.
