The CEIFA Award honours outstanding independent festivals from Central Europe that stand out through strong artistic vision, sustainable structures, and deep regional rootedness.
The winner was Fraj Festival (Slovakia), recognised for its bold curatorial approach and its strong commitment to contemporary music and culture with € 1.500 in cash and ad space worth € 7.000.
Second place went to Habrovka Festival (Czech Republic), celebrated for its unique combination of music, nature, community, and artistic openness.
Third place was awarded to Kunstmue Festival (Austria), an important platform for emerging artists and cultural exchange in a rural context.
Der CEIFA Award zeichnet jährlich herausragende unabhängige Festivals aus Zentraleuropa aus, die sich durch starke künstlerische Profile, nachhaltige Strukturen und eine besondere regionale Verankerung auszeichnen.
Der Gewinn von € 1.500 in cash und Werbefläche im Wert von € 7.000 ging an das Fraj Festival (Slowakei), das mit seinem kuratierten, mutigen Programm und seiner klaren Haltung zur Förderung zeitgenössischer Musik und Kultur überzeugen konnte.
Der zweite Platz wurde an das Habrovka Festival (Tschechien) vergeben, das für seine einzigartige Verbindung von Musik, Natur, Community und künstlerischer Offenheit geschätzt wird.
Den dritten Platz belegte das Kunstmue Festival (Österreich), das sich als wichtiges Plattform-Festival für neue Musik, junge Artists und kulturellen Austausch im ländlichen Raum etabliert hat.
