Waves Vienna is pleased to announce a new partnership with Qobuz, the French music streaming and download platform known for its focus on high-quality sound, editorial depth and a strong commitment to music culture.
As part of the collaboration, Qobuz will be present at Waves Vienna 2026 with several activities connecting artists, industry professionals and music lovers. The partnership will include dedicated conference formats, editorial features and opportunities for selected artists to receive feedback from experts.
A special focus will be placed on sound quality, production and the role of human curation in music discovery. Within the Waves Vienna Conference, Qobuz will host a First Impression Session with a production focus, offering artists the chance to present their music and receive direct professional feedback on sound, arrangement and production quality.
In addition, Qobuz will contribute to the conference programme through a session on music curation, discovery and the continued relevance of editorial and human-led recommendation in an increasingly algorithm-driven music landscape.
The partnership also extends into the festival’s digital and editorial presence, including curated playlists, artist features and selected content around Waves Vienna 2026.
